How To Downgrade To Jellybean [ZP 4].

Hii Friend .....
 
Today we are going to learn , How to Downgrade from Kitkat to Jellybean ?
So first off all we have to learn that How flashing process can be Done and what ITEMS we need While we are Going for flash .


 Items....

1. Flashable .RAW file( Contain System of JB)
2. Zenfone 4 ( Strictly Use this Phone only)

3. Phone must be Having WW software Only As screenshot.

To check go to SETTINGS> ABOUT > SOFTWARE INFORMATION.

4. Little Confidence ( Important)

Now lets start It . 

Backup everything on Phone memory(Contacts , Messages etc.) because it will completely erase phone memory.

1.Download  Jellybean Firmware In Here

2. Copy the  FIRMWARE  file to your SD card ( External storage).

3. Boot into Droidbot POWER BUTTON + VOLUME UP. (press the button until a android sign is appear on the mobile display)

4. Now chose SD download .

5. This process may take up-to 10 mints so DON'T Touch the phone until It completes.

6. After It completes the phone will automatically get started.. But phone will not start because its a boot loop.

7.  Pull the battery out of the phone then again put the battery back on the phone and enter into Droidboot mode by pressing VOLUME UP+ POWER BUTTON  (press the button until a android sign is appear on the mobile display)

8. Perform a factory reset.

Then phone will get auomatically started . CONGRATS !!! You have sucessfully Downgrade to 4.3.

UnBrick / Downgrade Tutorial for Zenfone 2 laser 100% working

DOWNGRADE FROM MM TO LP ASUS ZENFONE 2 LASER ZE550KL 100% WORKING METHOD.

Today we will Continue with a new tutorial that will work 100% for everyone. Previously i have posted a ADB method to downgrade but after Looking for user comment i found that an error occurs while loading ZIP file.

Me too experienced the same. So i decided to create another tutorial that will help users to Downgrade from Android Marshmallow to Lollipop without any issue.
We are facing a lot of issue in Android Marshmallow because of unfixed bugs. Also WW SKU users got a update that will Upgrade Baseband ( MODEM ) version that will allow the phone to catch 4g VoLte Signals. As we all know asus for there faulty Updates, This time also the same thing happen.
Few got Updated to volte but other didn't.. Even they have upgraded the firmware but the Baseband version wont able to capture VoLte Signal..  Whatsoever we can expect a New Update is comming to hit the phone to fix The Baseband Issue..

Instructions :

1. Download The ADB and Stock Recovery |  Click Here    Password is = www.zenfonehelp.com
2. Download the Firmware that you want to Downgrade. | Click Here 
3. Now copy the Firmware file to ExtSDcard ( Memory Card )
4. TurnOff The phone and go to Fastboot Mode ( Press Volume up + power Button at the same time and hold for 3 seconds )
5.  Now Extract the Downloaded file in Step 1
6. Now open cmd.bat file and that will open a command window in the ADB and Recovery Folder
7. now type Fastboot Devices to verify your phone is connected to PC properly.( If yes then you will see your devices Serial number in that command window )
8. Now type the command Below
   
   * fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
   *fastboot oem reboot-recovery
9. Now choose applay Update from Sdcard
10. choose the ZIP firmware file which you have downloaded in step 2 and copyed to SDcard in step 3
11.  wait for a While it will take upto 15-20 minute for the process to complete.. Dont touch or do anything while it is ongoing else you will brick the phone..

NOTE: After complete of the process You have to reboot your device and this time your phone will took more time to bootUP dont be panic..

VoLte update for ZenFone 2 Laser devices.

Reliance JIO has launched an amazing Jio Preview offer for the Partners.. Asus took advantage and did the partnership with Reliance Jio. Most of us have already taken the sim and using JIO offer for a while now.

Asus ZenFone devices are LTE reddy by now but not VoLte. We are using JioJoin app to make calls and SMS. As Most of the devices are compatible with VoLte by its processor, All went to request Asus for an Update that will make the device VoLte Reddy.

So Asus Released an update for Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL to update and I am today here to tell you the method to Install this update properly.

Note: Some of the users are not getting Volte even after updating to the latest firmware. Those who have 160803 basebands are not getting the VoLte feature. This feature is only available for 160509 baseband version of ze550kl. Even if you update that won't makes any difference or damage to your device.

Instruction :

1. Download Latest Firmware| Click Here 

2. Copy that Zip file to your External SDcard ( Memory card)

3. Unplug USB and suddenly you will see a notification that your device have found an update package. So proceed with that .. click on ok twice. 

4. Wait for few minutes because it will take some time.
5. After your phone gets booted up go to Network Settings and TurnOnn Enhance LTE mode to enable VoLTE

5. Done.. You have now installed the update.

Official Android M For Asus ZenFone 2 Finally Released

Its been Asus's 4th device followed by Asus Zenfone 2 laser ZE500KL --> Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL -->Zenfone MAX ZC550KL --> Zenfone 2 ZE551ML / ZE550ML got Android M system upgrade.

After a lot of waiting time and bug fix by Asus, Now Android M is also available for Asus Zenfone 2.

There is no doubt that Beta testing for this device is started earlier than any other, still this device got update little bit late. It's due to Intel Atom processor. As per official report --> Asus is asking for latest Intel ATOM driver but intel is not cooperating with Asus so this company is facing huge BUG problem while PORTING a complete OS to its Intel ATOM processor based Device.

Installation Procedure:

1. Download the ZIP firmware file for your device

7. Perform a Factory Reset and clear cache because it's a SYSTEM UPGRADE.

Android M for Asus Zenfone 2 laser ZE550KL.

Asus Released Android M for Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL.

Hii readers... Asus is now started pushing Android M to its second generations devices. Few weeks ago Asus has released Android M for Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL device after this Asus again released another update to its one of the second generation devices. Still Asus didn't say anything about its Intel Atom chip devices. As per reports Intel is not supporting Asus with latest drivers so that Asus is delaying its Android M for Intel Processor smartphones.

However, We will talk about Android M in Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL. I have collected few Feedback from some Random users who have already installed Android M in There devices and below this, you can find some pros and cons of this update.

Pros:

1. Super Smooth UI functioning all through it old but till better than lollipop, Not a single LAG

2.  Battery backup has increased about 1 hrs extra 

3. Games are running like playing on PlayStation without any frame drop, Super something gaming experience. Tested Asphalt 8, GTA San Andress and MC5.

4. Control on permissions

Cons:

1 . Same old UI makes look like that I am still using lollipop.

2. Can't use my SD card to store apps,

3. Internal storage decreased. You will get 10.80GB

4. No multiuser account

We have seen some pros and cons lets move to upgrade scenario.

1. Software update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Internal storage will decrease slightly after updating, suggest to backup data and relocate media files( pictures & video clip ) to SD card to reserve enough space before starting the software update.
2. Android Marshmallow won't support APP2SD. Please move apps to internal storage before the system upgrade.
3. Multi-user function won't be supported if the account is deleted, Please keep your account to continue using.

Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL is the first Zenfone series mobile to get updated Android M. Just after this developer started working on this mobile device. One of the developers has already created TWRP for Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL Android M.

Hey, friends. I can feel the happiness of the Zenfone 2 Laser devices because few days ago Asus started rolling out its first ever Android M update to Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL devices.
As soon as marshmallow installed, Users wanted to customized their devices and some developers are also started working towards it.

Today we will learn how to unlock Boot-Loader of Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL device.
For that, we have to download few files to flash in devices. Don't worry you won't loose any data.  :D

Downloads::

Download Unlock Boot loader for Ze500KL.

Instructions::

1. Extract The Downloaded ZIP file.
2. After extracting you will find 3 files inside it.
   *ADB_setup.exe
   *UnlockBL.zip
   *TWRP_2.8.7.7.img
3. If you have already installed ADB fast boot and then you don't have to install ADB_Setup.exe, If you don't have then please install it. 
4. Next Copy UnlockBl.zip into Devices Internal Storage.
5. Enter Fastboot Mode
6. Open the folder where TWRP_2.8.7.7.img is located and open CMD windows at there.
7. After opening CMD windows connect your phone to PC using a USB cable.
8. After all, Type this command in CMD window
   
   * fastboot boot twrp_2.8.7.7.img
9. Flash UnlockBL.zip using twrp.
10. Reboot
11. done.

Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL Received Marshmallow Update!

Android Marshmellow update HIT Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL.

Hey, guys... It's been a long time we are waiting for the Update of Android Marshmallow 6.0.

Asus promised us to give all it's second generation ZenFones  Android 6.0 Update and now it comes true for us. Few months ago Asus had started taking beta testers for its various devices (ie : Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL, Zenfone 2 ZE550ML / ZE551ML etc.).  I personally think that Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL didn't face many bugs in Beta Stage. That why it got the FIRST update in between Zenfone 2 Series.  The version of new update is WW_13.10.6.16_M3.6.44

On date 11/05/2K16, the update was released. I hope by This month all  second GEN Zenfone series start receiving the update.

2. unplug USB cable, You will see the notification to update your phone.

Well after recruiting beta tester for Asus ZenFone 2, Asus Started Recruiting Beta Testers for Asus Zenfone 2 Laser devices too. It will also indicate that the Update of Android 6.0 is ready to roll out after tested on few Beta testers devices.

What is a Beta Tester: When you apply for Beta Tester of Android 6.0 then Asus will provide you Firmware Update Earlier than other's. Now it's your job is to use the OS and verify Its stable or having any bug. If any Bug present you have to report it to Developer team and they will Fix the OS. At the end, A stable OS will be released for PUBLIC or FOR everyone having that Specific device.  

ADVERTISEMENT

In this Recruitment, Asus is Accepting only users having Zenfone 2 laser ZE500KL model. In future, they may also start taking Other Laser devices like ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE550KL / ZE600KL). Personally, I am also a Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5" User and waiting for next recruitment. I am so much excited to be a beta tester but it's not for my device. Hopefully, those having Zenfone ZE500KL model with WW version of Firmware can apply for BETA testers.
